1 Timothy 2:1–2 – "Prayer and Godliness"
Before Paul gives instructions about leadership or church life, he begins with a simple yet essential priority: pray. Believers are called to lift up prayers for everyone—including those in authority—so that we may live peaceful, godly, and faithful lives that reflect Christ to the world.
In a culture often marked by division, fear, and uncertainty, prayer reminds us that God is still sovereign. Rather than responding with worry or anger, the church is called to intercede with faith, trusting that God is at work in the hearts of people and nations.
